Seghesio is one of the oldest and respected families in the Sonoma Valley. When the winery was sold, it became an opportunity for Pete Seghesio to create a new brand to pass down to his children. Journyman Meat Company and Journeyman Wines was born. The shop, off the Healdsburg Plaza, is equal parts wine tasting room and charcuterie shop. Elements of the design reference a traditional butcher shop with a steel hanging rack and a custom ice box inspired temperature controlled wine refrigerator. A unique take on a butcher’s meat map comes in the form of a custom graphic image of a flying pig printed on the full height banquette back.
