Located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, this hotel’s design reimagined the culinary concept.
Fort Baker grew during times of peace, most significantly during 1920’s, and this detail provided the source of inspiration for the overall project. From the bar, to the lounge, and then to the dining room, the designers sought to create an atmosphere reminiscent of intimate, elegant officer club parties of the 20’s.
The historic architecture became the foundation for new design elements paying homage to the 1920’s Bauhaus movement, bearing utilitarian beauty in bespoke millwork, furniture, lighting fixtures and area rugs.
